1.) Can we draft someone and put them immediately on the taxi squad and only take the 25% salary hit and still use the other 75% to draft other players during the inaugural draft?
Yes, only rookies though and they have to be given a 3 year contract to be eligible for the TS (the max for the TS). Salary counts 100% when they are activated to the roster. The contract can be extended when they are activated or at any time up to the last day of their contract.
2.) Does a year on the taxi squad count toward the 115 total cap years?
No
3.) Is there a maximum contract years for a player or is it at our discretion against the 115 years?
Contracts must be applied from 1-5 years. If the owner does not announce a contract length I'll assign the player a 1 yr deal.

When did the punter position get added? The original rule book I reviewed had 20 starters and no punter. Is that something that can be voted on?

Why does salary cap increase 5% but salaries 10% each year? Would it make sense to be the same %? In the 1st draft we will draft 45 roster players plus 5 taxi squad? Or is it 40 and 5? Also you automatically use 15 yrs for those 5 members correct? The rules don't specifically say how many teams make the playoffs. I am assuming its 8? In the rules it says the minimum salary to extending a player is $10. Will teams not have any player for less than $10? Those are my questions for the 1st couple of pages...

The %'s don't match so that it is a challenge to keep your lineup intact year to year. The league that this is based on has 20% increases but I thought that was extreme when I set up so I dropped it to a more typical 10%. Each team will buy 45 total players in the startup auction. The only time you have 50 is in our off season which is after week 16 thru March 1st to allow room for players to be brought up from IR and TS and other off season moves. Six teams make the playoffs. I think if you look in the playoff rules it will state that but I will double check it. The $10 minimum extension just means that if you want to extend a $3 player for example, you don't extend him at a salary of 3 plus the 20%, the minimum salary is existing salary plus 20% OR $10 (whichever is greater).

...There is one thing that was brought up as I was forming the league about the IR spots and that 10 may be a little extreme. I'd like to get a little feedback on this from other owners but my thought would be to possibly reduce it to five.

I would agree to an IR of 5 to 6 players, 10 seems a bit too much.

During the auctions what dollar amounts are we using to bid? Is it in only dollars or are cents allowed. I have played in a league where the increasing bids could be as low as $0.25

What are the options for League Dues to be paid? I prefer to use Paypal for good record keeping but I don't want to give my email address here. I sent it to you earlier.

Hi guys, the Commish contacted me about possibly filling the last spot that was vacated recently, I am just here looking at the General section and learning the rules etc. Start date works fine with my schedule if I get the last spot.
