Hi all!
As you well know by now - I have taken the role as the leader of the Commissioning Committee, but I would like to give a thumps up to my fellow CC-members, David (Skyfall) and Tony (Deep Impact) - they're doing a great job to keep this league going.
My name's Per, I live in the Northwestern part of Denmark, I'm 44 and married to my lovely wife for 15 years. I have 3 kids - 12 (girl), 11 (girl) and 9 (boy) years old. I am lecturer at what would be college level in the US - I teach math to people, who are being educated to become teachers. In that capacity, I know Jesper (Fight Club) and his twin brother Peter (Boondock Saints), because I taught them math in their pathway to become a teacher. Through Jesper and Peter, I now play in dynasty leagues with Ayhan (Les Miserables), Ken (Inglorious Bastards) and Troels (Dark Knight).
I am the commisioner of Danish Dynasty League (Jesper and Peter participate), a unique league where we meet at our yearly Draftday to conduct our draft, play som flagfootball, eat some men's food and so on... It's like Christmas for men :-)
I play in 7 leagues now - 3 of them are IDP, 2 of the IDP leagues are salary leagues. I have only played IDP for three years, so I'm still a novice in this area, but I have played dynasty for about 6 or 7 years.
I am a Minnesota Viking fan - and it's purely by coincidence. About 30 years ago - when I was 13 or 14 years old - long before I know, there were something called NFL and American Football, one summer I bought a cap. When I discovered the NFL, I thought, the Minnesota Vikings somehow looked familar, and I turned my attention to the them. Much later, I found my cap tucked away under my bed - and I realized, why I just had to root for the Vikings :-). It was a Minnesota Vikings cap, of course...
So even though the Vikings somehow relate to Denmark, it has nothing to do with the fact, that the Danes were Vikings 1000 years ago. It's all about a cap... :-)
I really love playing dynasty fantasy football and I'm always ready to enter trade negotiations, no matter if it's a WR5 or a stud RB, we discuss. So just send a lot of offers my way..
I am sure, this league will be special - actually I have always thought about making a DEN vs USA league, and now this opportunity suddenly presented itself. I really look forward to many great years in the Showtime Dynasty League.
