Hey everyone. Glad to be a part of the reboot of the league!
My name is Dennis Labhart and I hail from Indiana, USA. I'm 42 and an autoworker for Toyota. I'm married and have two great kids... a son, 14 and a daughter 5.
Gladiator is easily my favorite movie of all time and I was so glad to see that we were allowed to pick new team names when I joined. Gladiator is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Where has the time gone?
I started fantasy sports while I was in college in 1990. It was rotisserie baseball, and our league lasted 14 years. I joined my first fantasy football league in 1995 and it has become my obsession, no.. my religion. I've played in every sort of league out there... redraft leagues, dynasty leagues, salary cap leagues, IDPs, leagues where you draft a coach, leagues with carbon copies of players (2 Peytons, 2 Calvins, etc etc). Showtime will be my 7th league and I love the challenge that each new league provides.
I grew up in Illinois, so I was naturally a Bears fan growing up (in the days of Walter Payton, the Fridge, and the Super Bowl Shuffle). I moved to Indiana after college and found myself more and more rooting for the Colts. When Peyton came on board, I was a full-fledged Colt fan, or so I thought. Little did I know, that when Manning left the Colts and went to the Broncos, my allegiance went with him and not with the boys in blue. I guess I will be looking for a new team to root for after this year (presumably Peyton's last), but until then, Go Broncos!
I'm also a sucker for torment, as I have been a life-long Chicago Cubs fan as well. This is gonna be our year (to not finish in last place!) Go Cubbies!

I too am a Cubs fan......I love punishment and disappointment apparently too.
