We've completed the UFA Auction and you've all done a great job.
We have filled our rosters to 45 players (The Expendables has 44 - but has a minimum of $1 left for the last player), so everything is as planned.
The next task for you to do is assign contract years on the forum to your newly aquired free agents. Remember, you have a maximum of 115 years for all your players on the active roster (TS doesn't count against the contract years) - but you don't have to use all 115 years.
For owners new to the salary cap format - something to be aware of, when assigning contract years is the salary cap penalty for dropping a player. If you for some reason in the futrure decide, that your free agent isn't worth holding on to anyway, and you want to drop him, his contract year status will affect the salary cap penalty you will get for dropping him. You can see the specific rules in Section 8) Salary Cap.
Some of you have alreadry assigned contract years on the forum - great. Your contract years aren't locked until a week after the ending of the UFA Auction - that is a week from today. The contract years will be locked on July 18th 11.59 pm.
If you have already posted your contracts years on the forum, feel free to change them until July 18th.
Every player on your roster is now regarded as a member of your roster and you will recieve a salary cap penalty as explained in Section 8) Salary Cap, if you drop him.
Remeber - if a rookie is put on the TS, he will automatically receieve a 5 year contract.

The cap limit for my team on the auction home page still shows last year's cap of $1050.00. I'm assuming that will be the same for everyone. That needs to be raised to $1102.50, correct?
